Revenge of R-Cyclone is the 3rd stage of Crimson Catastrophe. Previous stage: Wrath of R-Cyclone.
Red Cyclone has a single knockback and pushes at insane speed unless frozen or slowed, while Mr. Mole hides behind it and wrecks your stack with rapid Long Distance knockback (350–900).
- Mr. Mole attacks every 4 seconds, so skip anything slower than speed 5, anything with a foreswing near 4 seconds, or anything under 9,000 HP.
- Levelled crowd-control units — Sanzo, Witch Cat, Necromancer, iCat — reach the Cyclone; even Dragon Cat plus CC gets there eventually.
- Courier Cat and Awakened Bahamut have short foreswings and survive Mr. Mole repeatedly; once the Cyclone is slowed or frozen, Awakened Bahamut kills it almost instantly.
- Stall at the start for wallet, stack 3–4 CC units, then stream CC and attackers; slow or freeze the Cyclone the moment it spawns.
Red horned peon — 15,000 HP, 500 AP area attack at 40 melee range. Tanky for a peon. Anti-Red Ubers (Mighty Reza, Crazed Bahamut) clear easily.
Red Cyclone deals absurd damage and attacks non-stop, destroying anything it touches in less than a second. However, it has one of the shortest ranges in the game, somewhat slow speed, and two exploitable traits.
⚙ More counters worked out from the roster, lower confidence than the picks above; kept for reference
One Horn and Red Cyclone are Red. Anti-Red units take less damage and deal more.
Red Cyclone is Floating. Anti-Floating units take less damage and deal more.
Red Cyclone reaches 90 range. Units that out-range it can chip safely without taking hits.
Red Cyclone has a deep HP pool (999,999+ even before stage magnification). Heavy single-target burst shortens the fight.
6 enemy types stack up here. Area attackers hit the whole push at once instead of one unit at a time.
