Daboo of the Dead
BOSS
DABOO OF THE DEAD

March to Death is the 3rd stage of Dead on Debut. Previous stage: Prisoner's Progress.

STRATEGY

Metal frontliners paired with Daboo of the Dead, who repeatedly wipes out your anti-Metal stacks and takes ground with Omni Strike.

  • Most disposable Critical Hit units rely on chance, and Metal enemies ignore everything that is not Critical or Toxic.
  • Critical units with slow attack rates or long recharges struggle badly here.
  • Mistiming a Critical unit is heavily punished — Daboo kills it before the swing lands.
CATS TO BRING
★ PICKED FOR THIS STAGE
CATYPHOON A Super Rare WIKI Catyphoon - With decent speed, 5% critical chance and rapid area attacks, a well-timed Catyphoon can easily wipe out Metal Doges by its sheer weight of fire. SOBA CAT A Super Rare WIKI Soba Cat - Dealing heavy damage with guaranteed critical hits, Soba requires timing to compensate for her slow attack rate, recharge and foreswing, with successful hits easily removing Super Metal Hippoe and crippling Sir Metal Seal. At level 44, she can one-shot the Super Metal Hippoes. STONE CAT A Rare WIKI Stone Cat - Do not underlook this unit. As mentioned earlier, its fast speed and immovability makes it very great in stalling everything in this stage; you should most importantly send this unit out whenever Daboo kills your entire frontline. CORRUPTED MONEKO A Special WIKI Corrupted Moneko - Despite having an even longer animation than Soba with less damage, Crazed Moneko's guaranteed crit on third hit can still deal substantial damage to any Metal. MONEKO C Special WIKI Corrupted Moneko - Despite having an even longer animation than Soba with less damage, Crazed Moneko's guaranteed crit on third hit can still deal substantial damage to any Metal. CATASAURUS A Rare WIKI Catasaurus - With its Critical Hit Talent maxed and optionally Cost Down, this unit has an impressive attack rate for its 12% critical chance at a fairly low cost, allowing it to be accumulated and tear down the nasty Metals if given the chance. LI'L MACHO CAT D Special WIKI Catasaurus - With its Critical Hit Talent maxed and optionally Cost Down, this unit has an impressive attack rate for its 12% critical chance at a fairly low cost, allowing it to be accumulated and tear down the nasty Metals if given the chance. MODERN CAT B Rare WIKI Modern Cat - Though only available after clearing Charybdis' Mouth, Modern Cat's Resistance to Metals allow her to easily tank them for other units to land a hit on, neutralizing a majority of the pushing power on this level. CURRY CAT A Rare WIKI Curry Cat - An unusual LD single target anti-Metal, Curry slows them for 1 second, and has a 8% critical chance. Combined with its respectable damage output, they can consistently delay the Metals until they or another unit land enough crits. SHIGONG CAT A Rare WIKI Shigong Cat - Having Resistance to Zombies and Zombie Killer, Shigong retains its role as a meatshield and potential attacker against Daboo once the Metals dry up, as many anti-Metals and Holy Blast alone typically do it in. CAMERAMAN CAT B Rare WIKI Cameraman Cat - More of a gamble than gambit, large groups of Cameramen are absolutely required in addition to the critical talent (2%), the guaranteed Survivor Talent and any available Critical Hit Combos. PUPPETMASTER & CHARLEY A Rare WIKI Extremely useful anti-metal CC who you'll mainly want to use to reduce the threat that Sir Metal Seal poses. While it has Single Target, it's much better of an option than other crowd control options such as Hoopmaster or Mochi due to his high speed allowing him to neutralize threats quicker.
