MOON
Moon is the 48th stage of Empire of Cats Ch.3. Previous stage: Hawaii.
The base has 900,000 HP and the boss doesn't show up until you've taken it down to 70%. So this isn't one fight, it's two: an eight-minute siege by every peon in the chapter, and then Teacher Bun Bun — and the second fight is decided by what you did in the first.
The lineup that does it
Six slots, three buttons. Macho Cat and Wall Cat in front, Dragon Cat behind, Valkyrie Cat on the second page for the push. Sexy Legs and UFO Cat come along and never get bought. Everything at level 20 — and, the runner's own words before the battle even starts, the treasures matter more than the units: Energy Drink, Safe, Register, Cat Sword, Cat Shield and Clock at Superior in all three chapters. Not the XP boosts. People who copied the video button for button and still lost almost always turn out to be missing those.
Treasures before units
The runner spends his first half-minute paging through his Cat Treasure List, and that's the real lineup. Six treasures do the work on Moon, and they need to be at 100% in every chapter you've cleared, because each one stacks per chapter. Two make the Dragon stack affordable, two make it survive, two make Bun Bun's punch survivable. Stuck here with the right units? The fix is almost always a Treasure Festival weekend in Chapters 1 and 2, not a new cat.

Opening: Worker Cat, then walls
Nothing but Machos and Walls until Worker Cat is maxed — about a minute and forty-five. Those Guys and Sir Seals are on you from the first second, Crocos and B.B.Bunnies from twenty seconds; walls eat all of it. Then the Dragons start, one after another, and don't stop. By the three-minute mark the wallet is pinned at 12,000 and the stack is holding mid-field against Kang Roos on its own.

The Mooth rule
A Mooth arrives at forty seconds and then every minute or so, and it out-ranges everything you own in this chapter. Dragons kill one easily. Dragons do not survive three of them firing from behind Bun Bun. So the whole stage reduces to one habit: kill each Mooth the moment it appears, and never touch the base while one is alive. The runner shows you the failure at the end — Mooths stacked behind the boss, Dragons melting from the back while the walls die at the front, and the unit cap stopping you from re-walling. That is how this stage is lost.

Bun Bun
Valkyrie goes out once the stack is deep; at 4:10 she's standing on the enemy base with a dozen Dragons behind her. The base bleeds for four minutes. When it crosses 70% Bun Bun walks out — fast, Floating, and his punch is an area hit. Which is where the one trick the video doesn't mention comes in: send the meatshields in intervals, not pairs. A Macho and a Wall standing together die to one punch; spaced, each punch takes one and the Dragons keep firing. That single adjustment is the difference in most of the 'I did exactly this and lost' stories.

If you have more
Anti-Floating helps and isn't required. Swimmer Cat is worth a slot — the runner says so himself. An Uber that hits Floating hard (Jeanne, Kasa Jizo) shortens the second fight; it doesn't change the first.
THE SHORT VERSIONWalls, Dragons, Valkyrie, and discipline about Mooths. Clear time around eight minutes.
In Chapter 3, every enemy on Moon is at 400% (Chapter 1: 100%, Chapter 2: 150%). Compared with Chapter 1, Croco, Sir Seal, B.B.Bunny, Mooth, Pigge and Teacher Bun Bun are new, and The Face, Hippoe and Jackie Peng are gone. The enemy base has 900,000 HP here, against 99,999 in Chapter 1 and 200,000 in Chapter 2.

From each chapter's wiki stage infobox. Magnification scales an enemy's HP and attack.
Teacher Bun Bun is Floating. Anti-Floating units take less damage and deal more.
Teacher Bun Bun reaches 200 range. Units that out-range it can chip safely without taking hits.
9 enemy types stack up here. Area attackers hit the whole push at once instead of one unit at a time.
