STRATEGY
Golem Sunfish freezes, curses and damages your line from extreme range while two Kappys deal heavy damage and spam Surges.
- This is the only Advent Stage fielding two different Advent bosses — Kappy Kawano and Kappy Jr. together.
- Money management is part of the fight: killing Celeboodle with a talented Hip Hop Cat or Express Cat keeps funds up.
- Your Surge-immune units need to keep functioning while under fire from Golem Sunfish, which narrows the list considerably.

GATO AMIGO D Essentially a requirement for this stage, being the most accessible Surge-immune meatshield makes him the prime pick for a meatshield for all strategies. Albeit vulnerable to Golem Sunfish, he still serves as filler for your other defensive units. 
CAN CAN CAT A Can Can requires all the Talents you might have at this point (besides Target Alien), abusing its high damage to quickly remove strong peons like Sir Rel, Relic Doge, Celeboodle (for additional resources), Gabriel and Angelic Gory. 
BULLET TRAIN CAT A Mainly to take out Celeboodle quickly for a huge boost to cash, and chip against the bosses. 
LI'L LIZARD CAT B With Surge Immunity and other Talents such as Survive and Mini-Wave, this unit is notable for being able to outrange Kawano and deal stackable DPS against him. 
JELLY DUMPLING CAT A Jelly Dumpling's level 7 Wave makes it one of the few consistent ways of hitting Golem Sunfish in the back. 
BOULDER CAT A Boulder may cause Kappy Kawano to generate multiple Surges, but its extreme health and Surge Immunity mean that when boosted by Research Combos, it can be a great source of defense by walling the nasty peons, and its Freeze Immunity prevents Golem Sunfish from disabling it. 
METAL MACHO B He's great at tanking any of Kappy Kawano or Kappy Jr.'s attacks, though he will be shredded in seconds if sent out with Sir Rel or Angelic Gory on the field. As long as you can deal with the peons, he will be a good choice. 
TEA MASTER CAT A With Research Combos, this fairly obscure unit can be used as a ranged meatshield against Kappy Jr, and is able to tank hits from Golem Sunfish with his Strong vs. Relics ability. 
MACHO CRYSTAL CAT A Though he must be timed properly, he is a great choice for crowd-control against both Kappys, If combined with Boulder Cat and Metal Macho, they can pretty much control the level. 
JIANGSHI CAT C Jiangshi Cat has the Tiny Ancient Hunt Combo with Li'l King Dragon Cat, and also makes for good extra defense with his guaranteed Survive and high speed (with Talents). He should only be summoned with an excess of money though, since he's a large cash drain. 
LUNOS THE ECLIPSED S Category:Traitless Enemies|Traitless Enemies]] and thus can resolve the Kappys; however, you need to ensure their effects are not interfered by Curse if they aren't immune to it. 
LASVOSS REBORN S His extreme damage and Immunity to Surges allow him to cripple Kappy Jr. Against Kappy Kawano, Lasvoss requires some timing to sneak an attack in. His combo, Bad Guys, is also helpful to spam Boulder Cat and other units more. 
HITMAN CAT A Hitman Cat: Deals massive damage to Traitless enemies Also fits “Clear the crowd.” 
BOWLER CAT A The Slow lands on Traitless enemies — great for stalling the many Traitless bosses across Empire of Cats and Into the Future. 
DRILLER CAT A 100% Weakens Traitless to 10% and (True) Strong vs Traitless. Also fits “Out-range Kappy Kawano.” 
D'ARKTANYAN S Strong Against Traitless on a Long-Distance area attack — answers the many Traitless bosses. Also fits “Clear the crowd.”
