Wrath of Carnage is the 2nd stage of River Styx. Previous stage: Realm of Carnage. Next stage: Revenge of Carnage.
An exact copy of Realm of Carnage, except Rare and Super Rare units are banned — which removes most of what made that stage workable.
- Sushi Cat, Apple Cat, Swordsman Cat, Ancient Egg: N101 and Crazed Fish Cat are all off the table.
- Only Normal, Special, Uber Rare and Legend Rare units can be deployed.
- Hannya's Weaken and the Bore/R.Ost pairing are unchanged, so the fight is the same shape with fewer tools.
Hannya is Red. Anti-Red units take less damage and deal more.
FISH CAT A Strong Against Red and tanky for the cost — a sturdy anti-Red frontliner. 
BEAN CATS B Knockback and (True) Resist vs Red enemies. 
CARPENTER CAT A Resistant to Red — durable against Red attackers. 
APPLE CAT A Freezes Red enemies (100% in True Form). 
CAT CLAN HEROES S Weakens and damages Red. Hannya reaches 800 range. Units that out-range it can chip safely without taking hits.
Hannya has a deep HP pool (1,000,000+ even before stage magnification). Heavy single-target burst shortens the fight.
BAHAMUT CAT S Huge multi-hit burst — a story-unlock powerhouse that deletes tanky enemies. 
CHILD OF DESTINY PHONO S Big Multi-Hit Massive-Damage bursts from safety. 
GAIA THE CREATOR S Long-Distance multi-hit with Insane Damage — a generalist wall-cracker. 
CRAZED MONEKO A Big crit burst against tanky/Metal targets.
