STRATEGY
Possessed Empress sits behind a 1,200,000 HP Aku Shield that regenerates up to nine times, so brute force is not a strategy here.
- You need units that pierce shields — without one the fight simply does not progress.
- The stage never gives you quiet time: Doge Dark, Heavenly Hippoe, Aku Gory and Aku Doge push constantly.
- The loop is clear the peons, pierce the shield, repeat.

CATS TO BRING 
CAN CAN CAT A Especially with their Double Bounty Talent, they are quite useful in this stage due to their high damage for a low cost. 
OCTOPUS CAT A At level 36, Octopus Cat can survive, albeit just barely, a hit from Possessed Empress, which allows for it to block her Slowing Mini-Wave. This is crucial for allowing your units to advance and gain back any lost ground. 
CAT RESEARCHER A N109 (Rare Cat)|Barrel Cat]]: Both are extremely solid Shield Piercers–Barrel Cat in particular has a way higher proc chance (60%) than Cat Researcher (15%). However, Barrel Cat comes at the cost of being more difficult to obtain, so it really comes down to whichever one the player has. 
PIZZA CAT A Amazing for taking out the Shadow Boxer K waves, Pizza Cat can prove valuable for his Massive Damage and, with his Talents, Wave Attacks that can pierce into the enemy front lines, dealing valuable chip damage to every peon. 
BRAINWASHED MACHO CAT B An amazing meatshield for this stage, his 30% chance to Dodge Dark and Aku attacks makes him very solid for holding ground against the Possessed Empress. His cheap cost and short recharge also allow him to help stall the other non-Dark/Aku enemies in the stage. 
HEAVY ASSAULT C.A.T. B With the Massive Damage VS Dark Talent, C.A.T is a good answer against the Shadow Boxer K and Doge Dark waves, as it's more versatile than Pizza Cat. However, it has lower health, so whereas Pizza Cat will survive a hit from the Possessed Empress, C.A.T. might fall short.
