2-2 MARS
Spawns in groups of three. Area attackers clear them fast.
Hippoe variant โ 7000 HP, 200 dmg Area Attack at 222 range. Tough first encounter in ItF Norway but a glorified Hippoe once you have Valkyrie / Bahamut and ItF Treasures.
Second enemy introduced. Slightly tougher than Doge but still functions as fodder. Red variants are separate enemies (Ginger Snache, etc.).
Faster, stronger Shibalien with 35% Warp chance back 750 range. Slowable/freezable like other Aliens. Bahamut can one-shot in its first appearance.
100% Warp chance back 500 range for 3.3s โ extremely disruptive. Low range vulnerability. Counter with Area Attackers and Warp-Immune cats (Bora/Lumina line, Rover Cat Mk II).
Hermit-crab Alien โ 9000 HP, 300 dmg Area Attack at 170 range, 100% chance to Survive a lethal strike (one-time). Meatshields + ranged DPS handle it cleanly.
Star Peng spam (100% Warp back 500 range for 3.3s) on top of the regular Alien peon wall. Specials are banned, so the Bahamut and Loincloth Cat backbone of Ch.1 evaporates โ the carry shifts to Anti-Alien Ubers with built-in Warp Immunity (Bazifenix, Luminalia) and Macho Leg Cat as the only Normal-tier Anti-Alien backup.
Same No Specials restriction, now with Star Peng spam added to the Hyppoh + Helmut Krabbe + Shibalien Elite mix. r/battlecats: 'easier than 2-1 Earth because there's no Barrier wall, but the warp from Star Peng will catch you out if your backline isn't built for it.' Lineup: Normal-tier meatshields (Cat, Tank, Wall) โ Warp-Immune backliners from Rare/SR/UR pool (Bora-line Pixies, Rover Cat Mk II, Mighty Reza) โ 1-2 Anti-Alien Ubers for boss damage. Common failure: forgetting Star Peng warps your damage cats back 500 range for 3.3s. If you have no warp immunity, the Anti-Alien Ubers you brought to win the stage spend it sitting next to your base.
