First enemy in the game. Very low stats — easily killed by anything; mostly a meatshield in early stages.
Only takes 1 damage per hit. Critical-hit cats only.
Fast attack rate for a peon.
Fast Angel rusher.
Traitless wave attacker. Wave-immune units or Anubis the Protector make this safe.
No damage but distracts attackers and stalls progress.
Metal Doge debuts — bring a critical hitter. No headline boss, but Metal Doge spam plus Doge Dark stacks is brutal.
Metal Doge's debut — the chapter's first 'you brought the wrong lineup' wall. Standard loadout: Island Cat + Crazed Whale Cat + Crazed Fish for guaranteed Crits on Metal Doge → Anti-Black DPS (Bombercat, Holy Valkyrie) for the Doge Dark wave → Mohawk meatshields. Gabriel adds Angel-trait pressure; Sanzo Cat or Holy Valkyrie handle him. Common failure: bringing a Bahamut-only lineup. No-Crit damage bounces off Metal Doge for 1s. The classic post-clear mistake is realising you've been hitting Metal Doge with non-Crit DPS for the whole fight.
