N-1 Grand Prix is the 1st stage of King Wahwah's Revenge. Next stage: Revenge of N-1.
STRATEGY
The rarity restriction is the difficulty — only Normal, Uber Rare and Legend Rare units are allowed, against a boss built to punish exactly that.
- King Wahwah's 1,000-range Omni Strike, guaranteed knockback and three closely-spaced Multi-Hits leave Normals no chance unless they are highly levelled.
- Defense Up Cat Combos are close to mandatory for keeping Normal units alive at all.
- Among the Ubers and Legends you can bring, tankers and rushers with short cooldowns do the most work.

JAMIERA CAT A Jamiera Cat and Island Cat - Can survive Wahwah's attacks and deal damage in between peon waves. Bring them if you lack good Tanker-Class Ubers. 
ISLAND CAT A Jamiera Cat and Island Cat - Can survive Wahwah's attacks and deal damage in between peon waves. Bring them if you lack good Tanker-Class Ubers. 
KING DRAGON CAT B King Dragon Cat - A good midranger dealing decent damage from a high range, though only bring him if you don't own good midrangers. 
KASA JIZO S In his first form or ultra form, Jizo is a fast, cheap and disposable midranger with Massive Damage to Darks, which destroys Shadow Boxer K and Doge Dark. Packing decent stats as well, Jizo has many opportunities to hit Wahwah once the peons are clear. 
CHILD OF DESTINY PHONO A Much more preferable in their first forms, they provide good damage to the Kang Roos at a spammable cooldown and decent cost, similar to Jizo. 
GREATER BALROG CAT S With a very fast cooldown and somewhat low cost for a uber, Greater Balrog's melee range and single target attacks are generally not problematic, given the overall lack of peons, and more can be fielded if one is lost. 
THE PEACH DEVILS S Can rush up to King Wahwah and deal decent chip damage while lasting somewhat long thanks to their decent health. 
CATS IN THE CRADLE A A melee unit with very high damage, great disposability and level 2 wave attacks, Cradle can easily cripple peons and knock Wahwah away on hit. Despite being vulnerable to knockback, Cradle's health allows it to last several cycles and potentially reach the boss. 
HYPER BATTALION CONVOYS S The unit tanks and rebounds off hits, unleashing wave attacks with each rebound, all of which tend to hit Wahwah doing a lot of damage and reclaiming ground. 
BAZIBASTRA S Destroys Scissoroo, and can still provide some contribution to the other Kang Roos, though with less effectiveness. His cooldown and price are rather low for an Uber, too, and his bulk allows him to survive Wahwah for a decent amount of time.

TEACHER BEARCAT A Zombie Killer — stops the revive so it stays dead. Also fits “Counter Traitless.”
