Wrath of the Dogelord is the 3rd stage of King Wahwah's Revenge. Previous stage: Revenge of N-1.
The peons are the problem, not King Wahwah — this stage buries you in Kroxos, Ginger Snaches, Mr. Angels and Trolly Bloggers.
- You need area attackers that clear large groups at once, plus something that can snipe Wahwah from range.
- Salon Cat pays for itself through cash flow; Crazed Gross Cat and Crazed Cow Cat handle the clearing.
- Jellycat, if you have it by this point, covers both jobs at once.
RAMEN CAT A A good meatshield here as he is able to tank many hits from the peons and especially Mr. Angel due to his resistance to angels. 
MANIC MACHO LEGS A Viable option here, his Wave Attacks are able to deal high damage to oncoming peons and can deal decent damage to Wahwah. 
SLIME CAT A A great option here if it is available, as his insanely high Wave Attack damage can clear upcoming peons and knockback Wahwah, allowing you to gain ground. 
EXPRESS CAT A Can be used to recieve more money from peons like Kroxo or Mr. Angel, and can deal enough damage to knockback Wahwah. 
AWAKENED BAHAMUT CAT S If his Explosion Talent is unlocked, he can wipe out an entire wave of peons, as well as deal very high damage to Wahwah. 
CYBERPUNK CAT A Used to crowd-control Wahwah and allow you to deal with the peons individually instead of dealing with both. He can also deal enough damage to knock him back occasionally, allowing you to regain ground. ⚙ More counters worked out from the roster, lower confidence than the picks above; kept for reference
King Wahwah is Traitless. Anti-Traitless units take less damage and deal more.
HITMAN CAT A Hitman Cat: Deals massive damage to Traitless enemies Also fits “Clear the crowd.” 
BOWLER CAT A The Slow lands on Traitless enemies — great for stalling the many Traitless bosses across Empire of Cats and Into the Future. 
BRAINWASHED AXE CAT A Strong against Traitless and Curses Traitless enemies. 
D'ARKTANYAN S Strong Against Traitless on a Long-Distance area attack — answers the many Traitless bosses. Also fits “Clear the crowd.” 
JAGANDO JR. A Lord of Ruin Jagando Jr.: Strong against Traitless enemies (Deals 1.5x damage, only takes 1/2 damage) Also fits “Clear the crowd.” King Wahwah reaches 600 range. Units that out-range it can chip safely without taking hits.
King Wahwah has a deep HP pool (1,000,000+ even before stage magnification). Heavy single-target burst shortens the fight.
BAHAMUT CAT S Huge multi-hit burst — a story-unlock powerhouse that deletes tanky enemies. 
IZ THE DANCER S Big Multi-Hit Massive-Damage bursts. Also fits “Clear the crowd.” 
GAIA THE CREATOR S Long-Distance multi-hit with Insane Damage — a generalist wall-cracker. 
CRAZED MONEKO A Big crit burst against tanky/Metal targets. 
KALISA S Big Massive-Damage Area hits. Also fits “Clear the crowd.” 7 enemy types stack up here. Area attackers hit the whole push at once instead of one unit at a time.
HITMAN CAT A Area attacks hit everything in range. Also fits “Counter Traitless.” 
SALON CAT S Hits whole crowds, and is Weaken-immune so it keeps firing through Weaken stages. NERD CAT A Evolved/True hit groups over a Long Distance band. Also fits “Out-range King Wahwah.” 
LASVOSS S Long-range Area damage clears groups. Also fits “Burst the boss down.” JAGANDO JR. A Area attacks hit everything in range.
